Circular on THR Issued, Here's the Content
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has issued a Circular Letter (SE) from the Minister of Manpower Number M/3/HK.04.00/III/2026 concerning the Implementation of the Provision of Religious Holiday Allowance (THR) for 2026 for Workers / Labor in Companies.
In this SE, the Minister of Manpower, Yassierli emphasized that the provision of YHR for workers/workers is an effort to meet the needs in welcoming religious holidays.
Meanwhile, religious THR is given to workers who have had 1 month of continuous work or more.
"Religious THR must be paid no later than seven days before the Religious Holiday, but companies are encouraged to pay it earlier before the deadline," wrote the Minister of Home Affairs, quoted Wednesday, March 4.
Then, for workers who have 12 months of continuous work or more, they are given one month's wages. Meanwhile, for those who have one month of continuous work or more but less than 12 months, they will be given proportionally according to the calculation (Work time ÷ 12) × 1 month's wages.
"For workers who work on a daily freelance basis, the one-month wage is calculated based on the average wage received during the last 12 months before the religious holiday.
Meanwhile, for workers whose wages are determined based on the unit of output, the one-month wage is calculated based on the average wage of the last 12 months before the religious holiday.
Yassierli also emphasized that companies should pay THR in full and not in installments. He also appealed to the local government to establish a THR Post which is integrated with the Labor and Manpower Post.
