JAKARTA - A female employee became a victim of abuse by her lover because she was burned with jealousy. The act of violence was carried out by the perpetrator with the initials R (24) at his house, in the Islamic Center area, Koja, North Jakarta.

As a result of the incident, the victim with the initials S (19) suffered a bruise on the eyelid after being hit by the perpetrator. The victim, who is registered as a resident of Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, immediately reported the incident to the North Jakarta Police.

"I've only been working for less than a month, and he is indeed jealous of him. At that time he picked me up. I work 12 hours, from 10 am to 10 pm," S told VOI at the North Jakarta Police, Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

Then before 10 pm, the perpetrator picked up the victim at his workplace in the Kemayoran area.

"Before 10 o'clock, he was already standing in front, he looked at me. I'm a cashier, I'm in front automatically. And there was a boy in the kitchen, he hit me, invited me to talk," he said.

"(Previously) I was warned (the same as the perpetrator) not to chat, not to talk to the opposite sex because he was very possessive," he said.

Even the abuse incident had been carried out by the perpetrator against the victim 3 times.

"By chance, he was a kitchen boy who chatted with me, and I responded because it was a job. He asked about the job, I responded. He also approached and sat next to me with an ordinary chair," said the victim.

Then the time for the return home came. Victim S finally returned home with the perpetrator who had picked him up.

"He kept coming back and picking me up, he took me to his house. His position was that he lived alone, there was a mother, but it was a different house. Then after that he was angry, I was insulted. I was also pointed out. Then he beat me," he said.

After reporting the incident, the police immediately took action and secured the perpetrator.

"The perpetrator has been detained at the Police. I hope the perpetrator will be severely punished," he said.
