Menaker: THR Must Be Paid in Full, Not Negotiable

Jakarta - The Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli in a THR BHR 2026 press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday, March 3, confirmed that the religious Eid Allowance (THR) in the private sector must be paid in full and cannot be paid in installments.

Meanwhile, according to Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs (Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs) Airlangga Hartarto based on data from BPJS Employment, wage recipients were recorded as 26.5 million workers from the private sector.

It is estimated that the number of THR in the private sector to be paid will reach around Rp124 trillion.
