ASN THR to Retirement Increases by 10 Percent and Starts to Flow Since February 26, 2026

JAKARTA - The government officially announced the disbursement of holiday allowances (THR) for state civil servants (ASN), TNI, Polri, to civil servants in the local government environment, and retirees.

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, said that the total THR budget for 2026 reached Rp. 55 trillion.

He added that the amount increased by 10 percent compared to the previous year which was IDR 49 trillion and the disbursement of THR had started since February 26, 2026.

"The government has prepared a budget of Rp. 55 trillion. Compared to last year, this has increased. Last year it was Rp. 49 trillion, up 10 percent," he said in a press conference, Tuesday, March 3.

According to Airlangga, of the total budget, Rp. 22.2 trillion was allocated for 2.4 million central ASN, including the TNI and Polri.

Meanwhile, 4.3 million regional ASN received a total of Rp20.2 trillion, and 3.8 million retirees received Rp12.7 trillion.

He explained that the THR component was paid in full 100 percent, including basic salary, family allowance, food allowance, post allowance, and performance allowance in accordance with applicable regulations.

Airlangga also emphasized that THR is different from the 13th salary and emphasized that the two things are not the same, considering that the 13th salary is generally paid in June.

"The disbursement of THR began gradually since February 26, the first week, and the THR was given to civil servants, CPNS, PPPK, State Officials, TNI Soldiers, Polri Members, Retired Civil Servants, Retired TNI/Polri Soldiers, to Retired State Officials," he said.
