Fahmi Bo admits to recovering from illness due to wife's loyalty

JAKARTA - In the midst of his struggle to recover from illness, veteran actor Fahmi Bo found a greatest strength that is priceless.

The strength came from his wife, Nita Anita Khairiyyah who faithfully returned to him after being separated for five years.

Fahmi Bo admitted that he did not expect that Nita still wanted to take care of and love him.

"This mother is a wife, yes, who I didn't expect to be like that. She still wants it," he said in South Jakarta, not long ago.

For him, what Nita showed was no longer just ordinary love.

"So it's not because of love anymore, sayang lah. Sayang semuanya," lanjutnya.

Their love story is quite unique. After 20 years of marriage, the two had been separated for five years. However, fate reunited them at a time when Fahmi Bo needed the most support.

"First 20 (years). Then we split 5 years, now we are back again," said Nita.

Nita's return to his side was the biggest motivation for Fahmi to be able to recover.

"Yes, of course it's a spirit. Eh, being able to be with the family again, the spirit is a motivation to want to get better, the spirit. There is that," he said.

He did not want to be constantly depressed in pain. The presence of his family made him want to get up and be independent again. Nita was never tired of accompanying him.

"Yes, everywhere. We are alone," he said.
