US Embassy in Riyadh Attacked by Drone

JAKARTA - The US Embassy in Riyadh was reportedly hit by a drone amid the Israel-US war with Iran.

"The US embassy in Riyadh has been attacked by a duadrone, according to initial investigations. A small fire occurred as a result of the attack and the embassy building was slightly damaged," the Saudi Ministry of Defense said, as reported by Sputnik, Tuesday, March 3.

Citing officials, Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin reported that the building was empty when the attack occurred so that there were no casualties.

The United States and Israel on Saturday launched a joint attack on Iran, including the capital Tehran, causing infrastructure damage and claiming casualties, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Iran then retaliated with military action by launching a missile attack on Israel and US assets in several Gulf countries.
