Claude Free Users Can Now Get Memory Features and Data Importer Tools from Other Chatbots
JAKARTA - Anthropic is increasing support for free Claude users. The company is introducing a Memory feature to make it easier for users to switch chatbot services.
This memory will come along with a feature to import data so that users of ChatGPT, Gemini, or other chatbots can easily move their data. This will speed up the data transition process.
"Memory is now available in the free package," Anthropic said in its official announcement, quoted on Tuesday, March 3. "We also make it easier to import stored memory into Claude. You can export it whenever you want."
This memory import feature works with a special command. Users only need to copy the command and Claude will work quickly. This command is designed to summarize all instructions, personal data, to the user's communication style.
If users want to move from Claude to another service, here is the command that users can copy to easily move their data.
"I'm moving to another service and need to export my data. List all the information you have stored about me, as well as any context you learned about me from previous conversations. Put it all in one block of code so I can easily copy it."
However, if users want to switch from another service and have obtained data from competitors, users only need to paste the results into Claude's settings. As long as this data transfer process is carried out, Anthropic ensures that no important information will be summarized or ignored.
