Amaru Absent from Album Promotion KickFlip, Why?

JAKARTA - Amaru, one of the members of KickFlip will be absent from the promotion of their latest album. JYP Entertainment as the agency announced that Amaru was resting.

This announcement was shared a few hours after KickFlip announced their latest mini album which is scheduled to be released on April 6.

"We would like to inform Amaru, KickFlip members cannot participate in the group's latest mini album promotion," JYP Entertainment said on Monday, March 2.

"To focus on treatment and rest, Amaru has been discussed after discussing with other members not to promote in this period," he said.

As a result, the promotion of the new KickFlip album will be carried out by six members, namely Kyehoon, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju, and Donghyeon.

"We apologize for the concern this news has caused KickFlip's fans who have been looking forward to the new album activity," the agency said.

Amaru also wrote a letter to KickFlip fans named WeFlip. He reminded fans not to worry about his condition.

"The love and support you give me is a strength that I can express in words. So I hope you don't worry too much. Until the day we meet again, I hope WeFlip stays healthy and takes care of yourself," wrote Amaru.

"Thank you always and I love you so much," Amaru concluded.

Amaru has been on hiatus since September 2025 after receiving a diagnosis of anxiety disorder and was advised to rest by the medical team.
