Smart Together with GoPay with MOKA and PLN to Help MSMEs Develop Their Businesses in Ramadan

JAKARTA - As a form of commitment in encouraging the strengthening and development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially in the face of the momentum of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, GoPay and MOKA collaborate with PLN Distribution Head Unit Jakarta Raya through the Jakarta Raya UMK Hub to hold an educational talkshow entitled "Smart Together".

Carrying the theme "Growing Through Collaboration UMKM Connect", this program aims to maximize the use of financial technology to facilitate transaction and financial management, as well as to help MSMEs build products that have a story value, and stronger competitiveness in the market.

Talkshow Pintar Bareng presents inspiring business actors as speakers, including the Founder of Rumah Batik Palbatu, Budi Dwi Hariyanto, Owner of Ichinogami, Putri Ayu Pratami, and Owner of Nusaibah Herbs and Spices, Hariyani. The speakers share their experiences in reading market opportunities in the month of Ramadan and leading up to Eid al-Fitr, brand development strategies, and how to strengthen product identity to be more competitive.

Not only that, participants are also invited to understand the importance of maximizing financial technology to facilitate transaction and financial management. Through the GoPay Merchant application and the MOKA cashier system, MSMEs can manage sales, inventory, to financial reports in real-time, so that business operations become more efficient during the Ramadan and Lebaran momentum.

General Manager of PLN's Jakarta Raya Distribution Unit, Moch. Andy Adchaminoerdin, said that Ramadan is a strategic period for MSMEs to improve business performance.

"We believe Ramadan is the right moment for MSMEs to expand market reach and manage their businesses more efficiently. Through this education, we are optimistic that MSMEs are not only able to survive, but also grow," said Andy Adcha, in a statement, quoted Monday, March 2.

Meanwhile, Head of GoPay Merchants, Haryanto Tanjo, sees Ramadan as an important period for MSMEs.

"And the collaboration between GoPay, UMK PLN and MOKA which is realized in this Pintar Bareng program is expected to help MSMEs capture existing opportunities for optimal business development," he said.
