Joint Team Seizes 561 Cartons of Ammunition Belonging to KKB Aibon Kogoya
JAKARTA - The joint TNI/Polri team consisting of the Habema Task Force, the Rajawali Task Force, and the Damai Cartenz 2026 Operation Task Force secured 561 rounds of ammunition of various calibers belonging to the Aibon Kogoya-led Armed Criminal Group (KKB).
Head of Operations of the DamaiCartenz Task Force, Brigadier General Faizal Rahmadani, said the joint team also managed to take control of their headquarters after a shootout.
"After the contact that occurred on Sunday (1/3), the joint TNI/Polri team managed to control the headquarters of the KKB led by Aibon Kogoya and secured a number of evidence," said Faizal as reported by ANTARA, Senein, March 2.

Because they were under pressure when the shootout occurred, the KKB then left their base until 561 rounds of ammunition of various calibers were secured, both for long and short barrel weapons, as well as 10 SS1-type magazines and AK-101-type firearms.
"In addition, 12 units of mobile phones, five units of handy talky, and cash amounting to Rp79,900,000 were secured," said Faizal.
Of the 12 mobile phones seized, there were two mobile phones suspected to belong to the victim of the previous act of violence, namely members of the C Battalion of the Brimob who were killed in an attack last year and civilian employees or security officers in the incident of burning the PT Kristalin security post in Nabire.
"Law enforcement efforts will continue to be carried out to provide a sense of security to the community," said Faizal.
