Agnez Mo Clarifies the News about Being Stuck in an Emergency Situation in Dubai: I'm Just Fine

JAKARTA - Indonesian international singer Agnez Mo has finally spoken up to clarify the slanted news that said she was trapped in an emergency situation while in Dubai.

Through a post on his social media, the singer of Coke Bottle ensured that his current condition was safe and okay.

Agnez revealed that she felt the need to make an official statement because of the many messages she received from her closest people.

News that he was "trapped" while sheltering from extreme weather or a particular situation has caused great concern for his family and colleagues.

"Actually, I usually hate doing things like this, but many of my friends, dancers, and people closest to me in my life sent me messages because they were very worried after reading the same headline that was completely untrue," said Agnez Mo quoted by VOI from her Instagram Story upload, Monday, March 2.

In the video, Agnez explicitly asked her fans and followers not to swallow the news that was circulating. She even showed the atmosphere of the apartment where she lived to prove that she was not in a dangerous condition.

"Don't believe the headlines that say, oh I'm stuck while taking shelter. No, I'm fine. I'm in my apartment right now. Look, everything is really fine," he said.

Even though it is safe, Agnez admits that the surrounding situation is indeed uncertain. He stated that he was still careful and followed the applicable security protocols. He also expressed sympathy and prayers for those who were actually victims or affected by the situation.

However, he regretted that there were parties who took advantage of this situation by making provocative headlines and exaggerating the situation.

"Please don't make headlines that make the atmosphere even hotter. I feel sorry for the people who worry about me. Don't make headlines like that, please. I beg you," he added.

At the end of his statement, Agnez promised to be the first person to give news if something important happened to him. This is done so that there is no more confusing information that disturbs the public.

"I'm safe, and if anything happens, I'll definitely be the first to tell you," he concluded.
