Critical Truck Driver Hit by 40-Foot Container at Tanjung Priok Port

JAKARTA - The driver of a trailer truck with the initials S (61) is still lying in Koja Hospital, North Jakarta, undergoing intensive care after being hit by a 40-foot container at the Kade Tanto Port, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

The Tanjung Priok Port Police Chief, AKBP Aris Wibowo, said the work accident occurred on Friday night, February 27, 2026.

The victim suffered injuries due to being hit by the falling container. The work accident occurred while the victim was waiting for unloading from the KM Trang.

"A container shifted and the victim was in the trailer car then hit a 40-foot container," said AKbP Aris when confirmed, Sunday, March 1.

Until now, the Tanjung Priok Port Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still investigating the incident.

"We are still investigating the incident. The victim is currently still under treatment," he said.
