Iranian Vice President: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Good Health and Fit
JAKARTA - Vice President of Iran Mohammad Jafar Ghaempanah stated that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is in good health and fit after Israel and the United States carried out a joint attack on the country, Saturday (28/2).
"Despite the cowardly attacks of the Zionist regime and the United States during the negotiations, Pezeshkian is in completely good health," the official wrote on the X platform.
Meanwhile, as reported by Antara from Sputnik, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei also said that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi was also not injured in the attack.
"Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is fine," Baghaei was quoted as saying by the IRNA news agency.
At the same time, a number of commanders of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and officials were killed in a joint US-Israeli attack, Reuters reported, citing Iranian sources.
The US launched an attack on a number of Iranian targets from the air and sea on Saturday. Previously on February 20, US President Donald Trump said he was considering the possibility of carrying out a limited attack on Iran.
