Saudi Arabia Inaugurates Central Kitchen in Gaza, Prepares 24,000 Daily Meals
JAKARTA - The King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center (KSrelief) inaugurated a central kitchen in the Gaza Strip to provide food security for the Palestinian people in the region.
Reported by ANTARA from SPA, Friday, February 27, through cooperation with the Cultural and Heritage Center as part of a fundraising campaign, the facility produces 24,000 meals every day during Ramadan.
The kitchen distributes 3.6 million meals, targeting refugee families in Deir Al-Balah and Al-Qarara towns. In addition to distributing aid, the facility also employs 40 local workers and implements the highest international health standards.
KSrelief's General Supervisor, Abdullah Al Rabeeah, highlighted that the project is a continuation of the efforts to distribute aid from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through land, sea and air to the Palestinian people.
He also underlined Saudi Arabia's commitment to easing the humanitarian crisis and supporting the most vulnerable groups, including women and children.
