Head of BGN: Red and White on the Chest, No Corruption Allowed

JAKARTA - The Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) stated the importance of strengthening the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Program and Human Resources (HR) management, considering that President Prabowo Subianto has instructed to prioritize integrity and loyalty to all MBG Program implementers.

Dadan said before joining to help President Prabowo Subianto, he only received two main messages that he still holds firmly.

According to him, these two principles are not merely personal messages, but basic values that must be internalized by all levels of BGN, especially the leaders of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Office (KPPG) in the regions that have great authority in the implementation of the program.

"Before I joined President Prabowo, I was only given two messages, and I think this is relevant for all MBG implementers, who helped me was Mr. President. I just entrusted two things. One, red and white on the chest. Two, no corruption," said Dadan as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, February 27.

Dadan reminded that the authority possessed should not be misused for personal interests or momentary gains. He emphasized the importance of thinking long-term and putting the interests of the nation above individual interests.

"So, please, because being the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Office (KPPG) has authority in the region, do not use that authority to take advantage of the moment, we have to think long term," he said.

Dadan also asked the leadership to not hesitate to take firm action if there are indications of any deviation.

"So, if the leaders smell that they are playing small, I think just throw it away, because there are still many people who want it," said Head of BGNDadan Hindayana.
