Lack of SLF, Jaktim City Government Seals Star Padel Padel Field in Pulomas
JAKARTA - The East Jakarta Administration City Government has finally sealed the Star Padel padel field on Jalan Pulomas Barat RT 005 RW 013, Kayu Putih Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta.
This padel court was previously complained about by local residents because it disturbed security and neighborhood comfort. Residents have also brought this issue to the green table, until finally winning a lawsuit at the State Administrative Court (PTUN).
The sealing was marked by the installation of a red banner that read "This building is subject to a permanent stop (sealed)". The joint officers involved consisted of the East Jakarta Administration City's Department of Construction, Spatial Planning, and Land (Citata), Satpol PP, the Pulogadung District, to Kayu Putih Village.
Head of the East Jakarta Citata Sub-Office, Wiwit Djalu Adji, explained that the action was taken because the building at the padel court location did not meet the licensing provisions.
"The government must seal off its operations because this building does not have an SLF (certificate of fitness for function)," Wiwit said in his statement, Friday, February 27.
He said, previously his party had sealed and given warnings to the manager. However, because the conditions had not been met, the sealing was carried out again with a permanent status.
"We are re-sealing. Previously we had sealed it. Then secondly, we gave a warning letter to do a permanent sealing of this building," he said.
The chairman of RT 005 RW 013 Kayu Putih, Nelson, admitted that the existence of the padel court had met with rejection from some residents. Nelson said the residents had met with the manager to discuss a number of requirements that had not been met.
"So, he has to meet first, but this is being worked on again, whether this requirement will be issued or not. If it is not issued, the padel field is threatened, closed. I forgot the name of the requirement," he said.
Apart from licensing, residents also complained about the noise from the padel field activities which lasted until the evening. According to Nelson, the majority of residents in his neighborhood do not support the operation of the arena.
"Actually my residents are 16 residents, 3 residents who support, 13 who do not support. Because there is noise, many consumer cars are fast, and my neighbors are also elderly (elderly) so they are disturbed by the noise," he said.
