Go International, Olla Ramlan Shooting Series in Malaysia
JAKARTA - Presenter and actress Olla Ramlan is now expanding her wings into the international arena. She has just completed the shooting process for the series "Walid Season 2", a Malaysian production that will air on the Viu platform.
"Until finally I went international. Boring! Yes, this is not out of town, this is to Malaysia," said Olla Ramlan in South Jakarta, Thursday, February 26.
In this international debut, Olla immediately got a pretty complex and challenging role. He will play the role of Raras, a sarcastic woman who turns out to be the child of a Kyai.
"I'm here, the character is a little... sarcastic, a little condescending, but I also know a lot because I'm the son of a Kyai," he said.
Not only the character is challenging, Olla also has to face various technical difficulties. One of them is when he has to perform a bathing scene under a real waterfall.
"It doesn't use AI, it's real, it's real! I'm cold, it's really good," he said.
He even had to have a dialogue in the middle of the sound of the very strong waterfall.
"I don't know if the waterfall is as strong, I have to talk," he continued.
Another challenge is the language. As the only actor from Indonesia, he must be able to adapt to the crew and other actors who mostly use the Malay language.
This experience is a very proud achievement for Olla. He managed to prove his acting quality at an international level.
