Anindya Bakrie Absent at PN Jaksel, Mediation of the Regional Chamber of Commerce Complaint Moved to March 5
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Anindya Bakrie again did not attend the mediation hearing for a number of regional Kadin managers at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, February 26, 2026. Mediator Judge Sri Wiguna postponed the mediation and rescheduled the meeting for March 5, 2026, because the principal parties were considered obliged to attend to open the opportunity for peace.
In this trial, Anindya as the defendant should face the plaintiffs Mulyadi (Chairman of the Indramayu Chamber of Commerce) and Rajab Prijadi (Chairman of the Garut Regency Chamber of Commerce). The other two defendants, Erwin Aksa and Almer Faiq Rusydi, were also absent.
Anindya's lawyer, Azis Syamdudin, said his client wanted to attend the mediation, but was having activities abroad.
This time the trial was only attended by one of the defendants who was referred to as the main party, namely the Deputy Chairman of the Organization of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Taufan Eko Nugroho. During the mediation process, Taufan was more silent.
Sri Wiguna emphasized that to achieve a peace caucus, the presence of the principal from the plaintiff and defendant parties is a requirement. Therefore, he offered a delay. The parties then agreed that the mediation would continue on March 5.
Rajab Prijadi and Mulyadi expressed their hope that Anindya would attend the next meeting. They emphasized that they would continue to fight for the enforcement of organizational rules, from AD/ART to the derivative of the Organization Regulation. "I will still convey that Kadin must return to its dignity, namely an organization that runs according to the rules," said Rajab.
The power of the plaintiff Roy Sianipar, SH, said that on March 5 mediation was expected to be attended by all parties, including Anindya. Roy said that in the initial mediation he had submitted a resume questioning the implementation of the Muprov Kadin West Java in Bogor which resulted in Almer Faiq Rusydi as the Chairman of the West Java Kadin, which according to the plaintiff was considered legally flawed. He said his client's desire was "simple": enforce the rules so that Muprov really refers to the AD/ART.
This matter departs from the duality of the leadership of the West Java Provincial Chamber of Commerce after the two 8th Muprov West Java Chambers of Commerce were held in Bogor and Bandung on September 24, 2025. In the Bandung Muprov, Nizar Sungkar was elected and was said to be valid according to the AD/ART. However, the plaintiff sued the Bogor Muprov which established Almer because it was considered to have hit the rules.
Roy also highlighted Anindya's move to appoint Almer in Cirebon on November 27, 2025, although previously the central Kadin had promised to bring the two camps together to end the conflict.
The lawsuit of the Kadinda throughout West Java was registered with the number 1356/Pdt.G/2025/PN JKT.SEL. The defendants include Anindya Bakrie, Taufan Eko Nugroho, Widiyanto Daputro, and Erwin Aksa.
