BRI Disburses Rp1,521 Trillion in Loans Throughout 2025
JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) reported that it had disbursed loans of IDR 1,521 trillion throughout 2025.
This figure experienced growth of 12.3 percent compared to the previous year which was recorded at Rp1,356 trillion.
BRI President Director, Hery Gunardi said, throughout 2025, credit distribution is focused on the MSME segment and far exceeds the distribution of credit
"In terms of intermediation, BRI credit distribution grew 12.3 percent to Rp1,521 trillion," said Hery in an online performance disclosure press conference, Thursday, February 26.
Hery added that BRI's credit growth, which reached double digits, was able to be balanced with prudent distribution and healthy growth. This is reflected in the ratio of non-performing loans (NPL) of 3.07 percent as of the end of the fourth quarter of 2025. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the company also managed to reduce Loan at Risk (LaR) from 10.7 percent at the end of 2024 to 9.6 percent at the end of 2025.
Meanwhile, BRI's Treasury and International Banking Director Farida Thamrin explained that MSMEs dominate the company's credit structure.
This is in line with the company's principle as a bank that is pro-people.
"The composition of SME loans reaches 77.5 percent of BRI's loan portfolio," said Farida.
According to him, this is part of supporting the government's program by consistently being the main distributor of People's Business Loans or KUR.
"Until December 2025, BRI has disbursed KUR of IDR 170.08 trillion to more than 3.8 million debtors," he said.
