FFNS 2026 Spring Play-Ins: 36 Teams Fight for 9 Tickets to the Grand Finals
JAKARTA - The national-level Free Fire esports tournament series, Free Fire Nusantara Series (FFNS) 2026 Spring Powered by ShopeePay will soon enter the Play-ins, on February 27-March 1.
This round will be the decisive phase for the 36 teams that have qualified from various previous qualification routes to survive and enter the FFNS 2026 Spring Grand Finals in Palembang, April.
FFNS 2026 Spring is the gateway for community teams to professional teams to step onto the Southeast Asian regional stage.
Bigetron by Vitality and ONIC teams, which are now subscribers to the Free Fire World Series Southeast Asia (FFWS SEA), also first conquered the FFNS stage in 2024 to reach the Southeast Asian competition.
As the champions of the national competition, the two were able to survive and avoid relegation until the FFWS SEA entered its 5th season this year.
The Journey to the Play-Ins Stage
For six weeks, hundreds of thousands of teams from 88 cities in Indonesia have participated in the FFNS 2026 Spring qualification series since January 2026, ranging from Offline City & Region Qualifiers, Online Qualifiers, to Guild War Qualifiers.
A total of 29 teams qualified for the Play-Ins (24 from the Region Qualifier, 1 from the Online Qualifier, and 4 from the Guild War Qualifier) and will join the seven teams holding Golden Tickets, including SMAN 5 Ambon, RRQ Academy, and Sriwijaya Esports.
A total of 36 teams will be divided into three groups of 12 teams and compete from February 27 to March 1. The top three teams from each group will advance to the FFNS 2026 Spring Grand Finals in Palembang in April.
Puncak FFNS Party 2026 Spring
Previously, Free Fire had announced that Palembang would host the FFNS 2026 Spring finals.
The presence of the FFNS 2026 Spring Grand Finals will be the first experience for the Free Fire community in Pempek City to enjoy a national-scale Free Fire esports match.
