Ministry of Defense: 987 ASN Registered to Attend Komcad Training

JAKARTA - The Head of the Defense Information Bureau (Karo Infohan) of the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General TNI Rico Ricardo Sirait, said that currently 987 state civil servants (ASN) have been registered to participate in training as a reserve component (komcad).

"Regarding the first wave of Komcad ASN training, to date the number of ASN who have been recorded and registered is 987 people from a quota of 2,000 participants," said Rico as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, February 26.

Rico said the 987 ASN came from ministries with offices in the Jakarta area and its surroundings.

Later, continued Rico, the 2,000 ASN will be the first wave of komcad groups that will undergo training in April 2026.

Later, the second wave of training will be held in mid-2026 with the same number of participants.

"In total, there are 4,000 quotas provided by the Ministry of Defense," said Rico.

Rico continued, the ASN who will undergo training as a komcad will pass through various requirements and strict selection. One of the requirements is that it is not forced or voluntary.

He hopes that with this training, all ASN can have the same spirit and nationalism to serve the community and the country.
