Following his colleague in One Direction, Niall Horan announced that the new album has been completed.
JAKARTA - Former One Direction member Niall Horan has brought good news for fans by confirming that his fourth studio album has been completed.
Through a post on social media, the Irish musician shared a short message that read "album finished" accompanied by a short audio clip of a piano.
This news confirms Horan's previous statement while attending the Hits Radio Breakfast Show with Fleur East. On that occasion, he revealed that he was in the final phase of perfecting the work.
Horan seems very excited to release this new material as a successor to the album "The Show" which was released in 2023.
"I'm here to finish it now. So I'm in the lab. I'm just finishing off some vocal parts and stuff like that, which I was less than happy with before, but yeah, I should have new music this year. And I'm really excited," said Niall Horan, quoted by NME, Thursday, February 26.
The arrival of this fourth album marks Horan's productivity in the midst of the busy schedules of other ex-One Direction members who are also actively releasing new works.
After releasing a collaboration titled "Drive Safe" in early February, Horan assured that his creative process was going according to plan so that fans could enjoy new music in the near future.
For information, Horan himself is known for his pop-rock and folk-pop music style which is thick with guitar playing and personal lyrics.
Horan's move coincides with a major momentum in the circle of his former band members. Harry Styles is scheduled to release his fourth album, "Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally", on March 6.
Meanwhile, Zayn Malik has also announced his fifth album, titled "Konnakol", which is scheduled to be released on April 17.
