During Fasting, Ruben Onsu Avoids Mal because He Can't Stand the Smell of Food
JAKARTA - Fasting turns out to bring a funny "dilemma" for presenter Ruben Onsu.
He admitted that he often experienced the phenomenon of "hungry eyes", where he bought various kinds of food but was unable to spend it.
"Look at the buy application, buy... It seems like a lot of people, like there are 20 people like that," he complained in South Jakarta, Wednesday, February 25.
In fact, after breaking the fast, he often feels full just by eating a few dates and a little lontong.
"We eat dates to be full... just a lontong to be full," he said.
As a result, a lot of food he had bought was wasted. This is a habit that he realized but it was difficult to avoid.
Besides "starving eyes" when looking at food apps, Ruben also admitted to having another weakness. He can't stand the smell of cooking when walking around the mall.
"We just avoid the mall, sorry, we are. There is a smell of cooking," he continued.
To keep his fasting smooth, he also chose not to visit shopping centers during Ramadan.
On the other hand, this habit also has an impact on his weight. Instead of going down, his weight actually increased by 4 kilograms.
"I don't gain weight ... I gain weight. I gain 4 kilos," he said.
