The police then hunted for the culprit. Based on public information, there was a sale of a red motorcycle without a license plate on Jalan Kalpataru Medan. The police then arrested the suspect NS on Monday, May 31.

Then the ALT suspect was arrested on Masjid Street, the RS suspect was secured on Village Hall Street, and the MN suspect was arrested on Kompos Street, Sunggal District.

Meanwhile, suspect MF was arrested in Pekan Sawah Village, Langkat Regency, suspect MS was arrested on Jalan Gugus Kota Binjai, and suspect PM was secured at his home on Jalan Pulo Parengge, Southeast Aceh Regency, Tuesday, June 1.

One unit of Honda CBR Merah was also secured with the police number BK6983 AJF belonging to the victim, Agustinus Manik.

The ALT suspect is subject to Article 365 paragraph (2) to 4e of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 12 years in prison. While the other six suspects NS, RS, MN, MF, MS and PM are subject to Article 365 paragraph 2 to 4e Jo. Article 480 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 4 years in prison.
