1. Have Alignment on CPL and CPMK

The first key, RPS is innovative when there is a correlation between CPL Learning Achievement of Graduates and CPMK (Course Learning Achievement). Because, the two are interrelated and closely related.

In compiling the RPS, when entering the formulation stage of the CPMK, the lecturer refers to the CPL. If the two are not in line, then it will certainly be confusing. The learning plan in the RPS becomes impossible to implement because it is not focused on learning outcomes.

2. Implementing a Variative Learning Strategy

Innovative RPS is also shown by the application of a varied learning method. The learning is structured and determined with practical strategies to be able to achieve CPL and CPMK.

In RPS OBE, the learning method applied by lecturers must be able to be centered on students. So that students are more active than lecturers. Then position the lecturer as a facilitator.

There are many methods of learning that are centered on the learner or student. For example, project-based learning, case study-based learning, learning with a laboratory or practice, and so on.

3. Determination of Assessment that is Relevant with CPL and CPMK

Innovative RPS is also marked by the determination of assessments or plans for assessment systems that are relevant to CPL and CPMK. So this assessment is not standing alone. But it must be in line and in line with CPL and CPMK.

For example, if in the CPMK it is stated that students are able to prepare a profit and loss statement. Developing innovative RPS is certainly a need and obligation for lecturers in Indonesia. Because RPS like this has a number of important meanings in supporting the course of learning. The following is an explanation:

OBE curriculum is a curriculum that needs to be implemented in higher education in Indonesia. This is in line with the issuance of Minister of Education and Culture Decree Number 3 of 2020 which explains that college graduates must master general attitudes and skills.
