No More Mini Lockdown In RT In Jakarta
JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said that there were no more neighborhood units (RT) that implemented a mini-lockdown due to the COVID-19 case. Previously, there were a number of RTs that were locked down due to the emergence of the COVID-19 cluster.
"Regarding the mini-lockdown, it doesn't exist, except that yesterday there were several RTs that were exposed when going home, like in Cilangkap. The others have been pretty good so far," said Riza at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, June 2.
In addition, Riza said there were no longer red zones or areas with a high risk of COVID-19 in the capital. However, Riza said the DKI Provincial Government would still monitor the return of homecoming travelers this year.
"We will see in the next week because we extend the isolation. In the next one or two weeks it will be clearer to what extent the impact of homecoming and return flows on the spread of transmission in DKI. Later the data will be clearer in the next two weeks," he said.
It is known that initially dozens of COVID-19 cases were found in residents of RT 3 RW 3, Cilangkap Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta who were exposed to the corona virus, increasing to 104 cases from 691 residents living in the RT as of May 23.
The Head of Cipayung Sub-district, Fajar Eko Satrio, told the chronology of the beginning of this incident. At first, during Eid, there was a large family who were local residents doing interaction or friendship during Eid. At that time, one of the family members was known to have a respiratory illness.
"Here there is one family, one extended family, one village when they interact with their holiday. Incidentally, they did not know anyone was sick, congenital or asthmatic," said Fajar
A person who is short of breath only thinks he has asthma which is a congenital disease, in the end he still interacts. He did not know that he was infected with COVID-19, so he kept in touch with the people around him and transmission occurred.
"The person concerned also doesn't know, so they are still interacting and the spread is fast," he said.
Now, there are still 2 residents who are positive for COVID-19 in the RT. The red zone in RT 3 has become the yellow zone. Residents held a thanksgiving after the mini-lockdown was stopped in the area.
