Operational Assistance for RA and Madrasah Targeted to be Paid Before Eid

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Religion targets that the Operational Assistance for the Implementation of Raudhatul Athfal (RA) and the Operational Assistance for Madrasah Stage I School (BOS) for the 2026 Fiscal Year will be deposited into the recipient's account before Lebaran.

The Minister of Religion (Menag), Nasaruddin Umar said the disbursement of BOP RA and BOS Madrasah is not just a routine agenda, but part of the strategy to maintain the operational stability of Islamic educational institutions at a crucial moment ahead of the holidays.

"Our target is clear, before Eid al-Fitr the funds have been realized. Institutions must not be disturbed in their activities. President Prabowo pays great attention to teachers and education," said the Minister of Religion as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 24.

According to him, the budget to be disbursed in this phase I reaches Rp. 4.5 trillion, consisting of Rp. 428 billion of BOP RA budget and Rp. 4.1 trillion of BOS Madrasah budget. This budget is intended for around 31 thousand RA and 52 thousand private madrasahs.

Director General of Islamic Education, Amien Suyitno explained that this year the government changed the pattern of distributing BOP RA and BOS Madrasah budgets. If previously the funds were distributed per quarter, starting in 2026 the mechanism was compacted into two stages in a year, semester-based.

According to Suyitno, this new scheme is said to be more adaptive to the actual needs of madrasahs and RA, as well as simplifying the administrative process. However, this acceleration also requires high discipline from all stakeholders, ranging from institution operators to regional offices in the region.

"With this new scheme, data synchronization and the timeliness of submission are very important so that there are no technical obstacles that result in delays in disbursement," said Suyitno.

Director of Curriculum, Facilities, Institutions and Student Affairs (KSKK) Madrasah, Nyayu Khodijah, ensures that all processes for the disbursement of BOP RA and BOS Madrasah 2026 funds are carried out digitally through the official portal of the Ministry of Religion.

According to him, digitalization is not just a formality, but an effort to accelerate verification and minimize the potential for administrative errors.

In line with this, there are two stages that RA and Madrasah managers must pay attention to. First, the submission of files from February 22 to March 3, 2026. Second, file verification from February 22 to March 4, 2026.

Nyayu Khodijah reminded that the slightest negligence in uploading documents can have a direct impact on the disbursement schedule.

"Make sure all documents are complete and uploaded on time. Don't let administrative delays hinder the agency's rights," he said.
