3 SPBU Cipinang Employee Perpetrators Are Intercepted by Police in Bekasi

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the East Jakarta Metro Police managed to arrest the perpetrators of the persecution of three employees of the Cipinang gas station on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

The perpetrator was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit in the Bekasi area, West Java on Tuesday afternoon.

"The perpetrator was arrested in Bekasi this afternoon. We caught him on the road, passing by the members," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of East Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Dicky Fertoffan when confirmed by VOI.

AKBP Dicky ensured that the perpetrator was not a member of the National Police as circulated on a number of social media.

"The perpetrator is not a policeman. The perpetrator is initials M alias E," he said.

When arrested, the perpetrator was still in the same car when he was in the Bekasi area. The East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit, which carried out the pursuit, immediately carried out an ambush on the road.

"We found evidence of the license plate that the perpetrator used during the incident," he said.

For further processing, the perpetrator and evidence were then taken to the East Jakarta Police to investigate further.

"Yes, we are handling the case, East Jakarta Police," he said.

Previously reported, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Dicky Fertoffan, confirmed that his party had obtained the identity of the perpetrator of the abuse of the Cipinang gas station employee, Pulogadung, East Jakarta.

"We are still pursuing the perpetrator of the persecution. His identity is known," said AKBP Dicky when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Later it was found out that the perpetrator was a civilian, not a member of the National Police, as was circulating on social media and others.
