BUMA secures contract with Adaro for South Cover Mine until 2030
JAKARTA - PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA), a major subsidiary of PT BUMA Internasional Grup Tbk (IDX: DOID; "BUMA International Group"), today announced the signing of a long-term contract with PT Adaro Indonesia ("Adaro").
The contract, which is valid from April 1, 2026 to December 31, 2030, secures the continuation of BUMA's operations at the South Cover Mine in Tanjung Tabalong, South Kalimantan.
Based on the contract and referring to the applicable terms and conditions as stated therein, BUMA is estimated to produce overburden removal of approximately 239 million cubic meters (bcm) and produce 44 million tons of coal, equivalent to an average annual volume of 50.5 million bcm and 9.3 million tons, respectively.
This contract further strengthens the long-term partnership between BUMA and Adaro Indonesia which has been established for more than 20 years, as well as strengthening the revenue base based on the Group's contracts and increasing the visibility of long-term financial performance.

This contract strengthens our revenue visibility while confirming BUMA's position as a trusted mining service partner in Indonesia," he explained in a written statement, Tuesday, February 24.
In line with its operational activities, BUMA is always committed to empowering the community in the Tabalong area through various programs that focus on education, health, environmental protection, as well as social and cultural. The flagship initiatives carried out include the JIKAMAKA computer skills workshop, Youth Broadcasting Class for the development of the creative industry, the Kampung Iklim environmental program, and support for local small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Various efforts have received a number of recognitions, including appreciation from the South Kalimantan Provincial Government for contributions in the field of environment, awards from the Regent of Tabalong for support for the Adipura initiative and the development of MSMEs, as well as recognition from the Tabalong youth community and the regent for BUMA's continued commitment to supporting the development of young generations and society.
