Russian Intelligence Accuses Britain-France of Secretly Transferring Nuclear Weapons to Ukraine

JAKARTA - The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) accused France and Britain of secretly preparing to transfer nuclear weapons to Ukraine.

According to a report shared by Russia's state-run media, Tass, on Tuesday, February 24, the British and French authorities "want to present the transfer of nuclear weapons to Kyiv as if it were Ukraine's own development."

The head of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin said that the plans of France and Britain could lead to a nuclear war.

Previously, Russia confirmed that military operations would continue in Ukraine until the goal was achieved.

The Kremlin said in a statement that there had been no further discussions with Ukraine to end the war.

This was emphasized by the Kremlin in relation to the fourth year of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine since February 24, 2022.

"After the West intervened to support Ukraine, the conflict has become a much larger confrontation with those who want to destroy our country," the Kremlin statement said.
