Heavy to Extreme Rain Likely to Hit Bali 24-26 February
DENPASAR - The Denpasar Regional Meteorological, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BBMKG) has issued an early warning with an alert level to alert that moderate to extreme intensity rain will occur in Bali, which is estimated to occur on February 24-26, 2026.
Prakirawan BBMKG Wilayah III Putu Agus Dedy Permana explained that there are three levels of warnings, namely alert, standby, and caution.
For the alert level, it is moderate to heavy rainfall, the standby level for heavy to very heavy rainfall, and for the alert level with very heavy to extreme rainfall.
On Tuesday, it is estimated that Badung, Tabanan, Gianyar, Klungkung, and Karangasem regencies, as well as Denpasar City, will experience rain with a warning level.
For the alert level, it is estimated that it will occur in Jembrana, Bangli, and Buleleng.
Then, early warning of strong winds occurred in Denpasar, Badung, Buleleng, Karangasem, Klungkung, and Gianyar.
Furthermore, on Wednesday (25/2), he continued, the alert warning level is expected to occur in Bangli, Buleleng, Jembrana, and Karangasem.
The alert level, he said, is expected to occur in Badung, Denpasar, Tabanan, Gianyar, and Klungkung.
Early warning of strong winds is expected to occur in Denpasar, Badung, Buleleng, Karangasem, Klungkung and Gianyar.
Then for Thursday (26/2) forecast, the alert warning level is expected to occur in Karangasem, Bangli, Buleleng, Gianyar, Klungkung, Jembrana. Meanwhile, the standby level is expected to occur in Badung, Denpasar, and Tabanan.

The wind speed on February 24-25 is estimated to be up to 45 kilometers per hour, with the height of the sea wave estimated at four meters in the waters south of Bali on Tuesday and three meters on Wednesday (25/2).
