Ramadan Standby, Indosat Strengthens Networks in 75 All-Indonesia Homecoming Routes
JAKARTA - Welcoming the surge in digital traffic during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026, PT Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) launched the #BetterIndosat campaign.
Through this campaign, Indosat will strengthen and optimize its network on more than 75 return routes and more than 790 strategic Points of Interest (POI) throughout Indonesia, during Ramadan.
Indosat will also monitor 24/7, to ensure customers remain connected without interruption, both in major cities and in the destination areas.
"At this special moment, we want customers to be able to focus on what is most important: staying connected and sharing with loved ones," said President Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Vikram Sinha, quoted Tuesday, February 24.
In addition, Indosat presents the Sahabat AI application to provide a more relevant and meaningful digital experience for the Indonesian people, especially during Ramadan.
Built with world-class AI technology with NVIDIA support and designed to understand the Indonesian language and context, which will help users find information, organize ideas, and solve various daily needs.
To protect its customers, Indosat also strengthens digital protection through AI-based Anti-Spam & Anti-Scam features, which have been launched since August 2025.
To date, the feature has detected and blocked more than 2 billion calls, messages, and links that are indicated as spam and fraud. This system continues to learn to follow the evolving threat patterns, so that its protection remains relevant to real conditions.
Lastly, Indosat presents the CSR program "Indosat Berkah Ramadan - Surau Kita Berdaya", which is carried out in 19 points in various regions of Indonesia, including Aceh after the disaster.
Through this program, Indosat revitalizes and strengthens the function of surau and mushola as a center of worship activities and community.
Not only by providing a more decent and comfortable worship space, but also by reviving the role of the surau as a space for community empowerment and strengthening social cohesion - with collaboration with partners and local communities so that the impact can really be felt.
