JAKARTA - Manchester United (MU) returned to the top four after Benjamin Sesko's goal defeated Everton with a score of 1-0 in the 27th week of the English League at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, Liverpool, Monday local time.
In this match, as reported by Antara, Sesko who entered as a substitute created Manchester United's winning goal against Everton in the 71st minute, according to the Premier League record.
This victory makes Manchester United now in fourth place in the English League standings with 48 points from 27 matches, 13 points behind Arsenal in first place.
On the other hand, the defeat keeps Everton in ninth place in the English League standings with 37 points from 27 matches, 11 points behind the top four.
MU immediately took the initiative to attack when the match started and immediately created an opportunity when the time was only four minutes into the fourth through Amad Diallo's shot which could still be stopped by Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
Then it was Diogo Dalot's turn to create an opportunity to bring MU ahead, but his shot from outside the penalty area was still a little off target from the Everton goal.
Entering the second half, MU again showed an attacking game and Bryan Mbeumo had a chance through his kick which was deflected.
MU finally managed to take the lead in the 71st minute through a counterattack scheme through Benjamin Sesko's shot after taking advantage of Mbeumo's pass so that the score became 1-0.
After falling behind first, Everton increased the intensity of their attack and had the opportunity through Michael Keane's long-range shot, which was still secured by goalkeeper Senne Lammens.
In the remaining time, Everton continued to try to at least equalize, but until the end of the match, the score of 1-0 for MU's victory remained.
