Transjakarta Adu Hantam in Corridor 13, Pramono: Human Error, the Driver is Less than
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung spoke out about the accident involving two Transjakarta buses in Corridor 13 on the Puri Beta-Tegal Mampang route Monday morning.
Pramono said that the accident of the Transjakarta bus collision was caused by a human error experienced by the bus driver with the operator code BMP 263, resulting in a collision with the bus code MYS 17100.
"Actually, if in TransJakarta the management is quite neat. This is a human error, not because of anything. So human error may be sleeping less because of fasting and so on, so that the bus then crosses or crosses, against the direction," said Pramono in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Monday, February 23.
Based on a report from the Transjakarta party, Pramono revealed that the driver named Yayan, this morning was indeed in a sleepy state due to working with long sif, or two consecutive days.
"It's true that working two days, you might be sleepy because you can't control it, and finally it ends up going into what, the opposite lane. As a result, MYS 17100 bus collided," said Pramono.
This accident resulted in dozens of Transjakarta passengers being injured. Pramono guarantees that the cost of treating the injured victims of the incident will be borne entirely by Transjakarta.
For information, two TransJakarta buses were involved in a bullfight accident in Corridor 13, Kebayoran-Cipulir section on Monday morning at around 07.15 WIB. As a result of the incident, 24 passengers were injured.
The Head of the Traffic Police's Traffic Safety Sub-Directorate, AKBP Ojo Ruslani, said the accident occurred on a two-way TransJakarta lane that did not have a barrier. This incident involved two TransJakarta buses driven by Yayan and Arfan Sukoco.
"The TransJakarta bus with the police number B 7136 SGA driven by Yayan was traveling from Kebayoran to Cipulir. Meanwhile, the bus with the police number B 7353 TGC driven by Arfan Sukoco was traveling in the opposite direction, namely Cipulir to Kebayoran," he said in a statement, Monday, February 23, 2026.
According to initial information, Yayan admitted to falling asleep while driving. As a result, the bus he was driving entered the opposite lane until there was a bullfight collision with a bus from the direction of Cipulir.
"The bus driver admitted to falling asleep while driving so that his vehicle entered the opposite lane," said Ojo.
In the incident, the bus driven by Yayan did not carry passengers. Meanwhile, all the injured victims came from the bus driven by Arfan Sukoco with the Cipulir-Kebayoran route.
"The number of injured victims is 24 people from the bus driven by Arfan Sukoco on the Cipulir - Kebayoran route," said Ojo.
The injured victims were immediately rushed to a number of hospitals for treatment, including Sari Asih Ciledug Hospital and Bakti Mulya Slipi Hospital.
"Of the total victims, two people were reported to have broken bones and are currently undergoing treatment at Sari Asih Ciledug Hospital," he concluded.
