Jakarta Livin Mandiri Opens Hope to the 2026 Proliga Final Four
JAKARTA - The Jakarta Livin Mandiri women's volleyball squad opened the hope of getting a ticket to the 2026 Proliga Final Four after winning the fight against Bandung BJB Tandamata in the continuation of this season's match.
Jakarta Livin maintained their dream through a narrow 3-2 (21-25, 28-26, 31-29, 22-25, and 16-14) victory in the closing match of the Fourth Series of the Second Round which took place at GOR Candradimuka, Sentul Bogor, on Sunday, February 22, 2026, WIB night.
The victory makes Jakarta Livin temporarily sit in fourth place in the standings. They collected 18 points and only played one more match as the final four tickets for the highest level volleyball league in Indonesia.
The match in question is against Jakarta Electric PLN Mobile on March 1, 2026. Looking at the current standings, both teams clearly need a win to secure a ticket to the Final Four.
Jakarta Livin and Jakarta Electric currently both have six wins from 11 matches, so they have the same points. In the standings, Jakarta Electric is in third place because of the set ratio.
Another team that still has a chance to continue their journey to the Final Four is Jakarta Popsivo Polwan. They now have 17 points and are in fifth place in the standings.
Jakarta Popsivo Polwan also still has one match to play as a determinant to get a ticket to the Final Four or not. The match is against the Medan Falcons which takes place on February 27, 2026.
On paper, Jakarta Popsivo Polwan is clearly favored to win the match. The reason is that Medan Falcons are the weakest team in the 2026 Proliga competition because they have not won a single game out of 11 matches played.
The two women's teams who have secured the Final Four tickets are Gresik Phonska Plus Pupuk Indonesia and Jakarta Pertamina Enduro (JPE). Gresik is in the top position with 26 points and JPE below with 24 points.
