Driven by Cheap EVs and Hybrids, MG Achieves 1 Million Deliveries in Europe
MG Motor announced an extraordinary achievement by having delivered one million customer cars in Europe, with various strategies carried out by the company to attract many markets.
The key factor behind MG's success is the brand's ability to offer advanced electric and hybrid vehicles that are truly affordable, stylish and fun to drive, available ahead of many other brands, with the hugely popular original MG4 EV proving a huge success.
Commercial Director at MG Motor UK, Guy Pigounakis, stated that the company has managed to return to the European automotive mainstream with deliveries to customers to one million.
"The passion that underlies MG, the iconic British sports car brand, which includes a thriving classic car culture and many enthusiastic owner groups, is invaluable and highly valued," he said, quoted from its official website, Monday, February 23.
"MG returned to the UK domestic market in 2011 with the MG6 and has since become an increasingly prominent and popular brand across Europe with over 1,300 dealer and representative partners in 34 markets.
The company has also pioneered the use of performance-focused electric vehicles with the eye-catching MG Cyberster, offering an innovative way to enjoy open-top driving. Designed at the company's design studio in London, the award-winning Cyberster played a major role in MG's 100th anniversary celebrations at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
MG also achieved a significant surge in orders during 2025 with its highly efficient and practical Hybrid+ car, with 139,000 deliveries further driving the brand's growth.
"This legacy continues to shape our strategic direction and reinforces our commitment to high-performance electric vehicles," he added.
MG Motor will make several important announcements, covering technology and design, in the first half of 2026 that will underline its commitment to European customers.
"However, MG is now also re-emerging by offering customers a wide choice of cars and adopting a forward-looking approach, especially on hybrid and electric vehicles, often superior to others, as well as investing in relevant and affordable technologies," he concluded.
