Four-storey shop in Mangga Dua burned down

JAKARTA - A shop unit on Jalan Mangga Dua Raya, RT 11/05, Ancol Village, Pademangan, North Jakarta, was hit by a fire on Monday, February 23, in the early hours. The incident occurred at around 02.25 WIB.

Then the fire incident was reported to the North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-Directorate.

Officers who received the fire report immediately deployed 11 fire trucks to the location.

"The number of personnel deployed is 55 people to the location. The object is on fire on the ground floor of a 4-storey shop," said Kasiop Sudin Gulkarmat North Jakarta and Thousand Islands, Gatot Sulaeman when confirmed by VOI, Monday morning.

After watering, the fire was successfully extinguished by the officers.

Not only that, officers were also forced to open the locked shop door using a grinder to access the fire point.

"Alhamdulillah it has been localized. The situation is not dangerous, only smoke," he said.

There were no casualties or injuries due to the fire. Meanwhile, the case was handled by the Pademangan Police.
