Alva Strengthens Position in the Electric Motor Industry with INDI 4.0 Certificate
PT Electra Mobilitas Indonesia (Alva) announced the acquisition of the Indonesia Industry 4.0 Readiness Index (INDI 4.0) Certificate. The company claims that this achievement is even more meaningful considering that Alva has only been operating for less than four years.
INDI 4.0 is a program initiated by the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia as a national instrument to measure the readiness of manufacturing companies in transforming to the era of Industry 4.0, namely the era of manufacturing industry that integrates smart digital technology into all production processes.
This reflects Alva's commitment since its inception to build a manufacturing foundation based on quality, technology, and innovation that is in line with national industry standards.
Alva's Chief Marketing Officer, Putu Swaditya Yudha, stated that this INDI 4.0 certificate is an acknowledgment of the company's commitment to adopting digital technology and Industry 4.0 best practices.
"This achievement strengthens our position as a key player in the electrification mobility industry in Indonesia. We will continue to innovate and improve digital capabilities to provide more efficient, sustainable mobility solutions that meet the needs of an ever-evolving market," he said, in an official statement received, Sunday, February 22.
On the same occasion, the Director General of the Metal, Machinery, Transportation Equipment and Electronics Industry of the Ministry of Industry, Setia Diarta, assessed that Alva was very serious in encouraging the adoption of electric motors because it had complete and comprehensive smart manufacturing production facilities, as well as having its own Research & Development (R&D) center.
"The existence of independent R&D such as Alva has is a very important added value in our assessment. This shows that Alva is not only focused on production, but also on innovation and the development of technology sustainably," said Setia Diarta.
This digital transformation is not merely a technical achievement, but provides a direct impact on the quality of products received by users. The acquisition of the INDI 4.0 certification reflects the readiness of Alva's production system which is digitized and integrated.
For users, this means electric motorcycles with more precise and consistent quality, as well as faster innovation applied across product lines, covering battery efficiency to safety features. Supported by the Boost Charging Station ecosystem and data-based after-sales services, Alva's digital transformation has a real impact on customer driving experience.
