Chelsea Finally Has Another Main Sponsor, Partnering with AI Company IFS until the End of the Season
Chelsea have announced that artificial intelligence (AI) company IFS will become the club's main jersey sponsor until the end of the season.
The west London club have not had a long-term shirt main sponsor since their lucrative deal with mobile phone company Three ended in 2023.
IFS's deal with Chelsea will see their logo on the front of the men's and women's team jerseys from immediately, meaning Liam Rosenior's side will wear the new kit for their Premier League clash against Burnley on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
Meanwhile, the women's team coached by Sonia Bompastor will wear the new jersey when they face Manchester United in the Women's FA Cup on Sunday, February 22, 2026.
Chelsea described the deal as a multi-year global partnership, but did not confirm whether IFS would continue to be the main sponsor of the team's jersey after the end of this season. The Blues also did not disclose the value of the deal.
IFS, which Chelsea said is the world's leading provider of AI software for industry, describes itself as a provider of industry-specific contextual intelligence trusted by the world's leading organizations.
This AI company deal comes 2.5 years after the deal with Three ended. Sports data technology company Infinite Athlete became the main sponsor of the Chelsea jersey with a short-term agreement starting September 2023.
Last season, Chelsea had no main jersey sponsor until the last few weeks of the competition season when the United Arab Emirates property developer, DAMAC, appeared on their jersey for a short time.
"We are very proud to partner with IFS and leverage their cutting-edge AI software to help drive the club towards greater success."
"This partnership is a statement of intent to continue to lead in this area, capitalizing on the opportunities brought by advanced technology and unlocking the power of AI to enhance everything we do on and off the pitch," Chelsea President Jason Gannon said.
