Checked By Police For Hours, Roy Suryo Explains Lucky Alamsyah's Uploads
JAKARTA - Former Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Roy Suryo has completed an investigation into the alleged defamation case with reported Lucky Alamsyah. Dozens of questions were asked by investigators related to Lucky Alamsyah's upload which was the subject of the problem.
"Frankly, I forgot how many questions. He (Pitra Romadhoni) had 23 questions, I was about that too," said Roy Suryo to reporters, Wednesday, June 2.
During the examination, which started at 09.30 WIB, the investigators sought out Roy Suroyo's information regarding the subject matter. Roy was asked to explain about Lucky Alamsyah's upload.
"It's more about the details of the post and it's also asked whether I access it myself or I just posted it," he said.
In the examination, not only Roy who was questioned. Several witnesses who were considered to have knowledge of the alleged defamation were also clarified.
"(Inspection) Simultaneously 3 witnesses, each of which is Mr. Heru Nugroho, Mrs. Teresia and an important witness, namely Pitra Romadoni," said Roy.
Roy Suryo reported Lucky Alamsyah on suspicion of defamation. The report is registered with LP/2669/V/YAN.2.5/2021/SPKT PMJ.
The feud between the two began with their claim that their car was grazed. Both admitted that they were victims of grazing.
After the incident, Lucky through his social media disclosed the incident. Roy, who was offended, then reported the case to the Polda Metro Jaya with accusations of defamation.
In this case, Lucky as the reported person was reported to be subject to Article 27 Paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 45 Paragraph (3) Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19 of 2026 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2008 concerning ITE.
