JAKARTA - The West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office received a Notification of the Commencement of Investigation (SPDP) in the name of Koko Erwin, a suspected drug trafficker who gave a bribe of Rp1 billion to AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro when he was the Head of the Bima City Police.

Assistant General Attorney for Criminal Affairs of NTB Irwan Setiawan Wahyuhafi said his party received the SPDP from the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police investigators.

"We received it (SPDP) yesterday (Thursday, 19/2)," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, February 20.

He emphasized that the SPDP who came from the NTB Police investigators were two. In addition to the name of Koko Erwin, the prosecutor also received a SPDP in the name of AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro.

Regarding the narrative explaining the legal status of Koko Erwin and AKBP Didik in each SPDP, it was not further explained.

Previously, on Thursday (19/2), AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro had been officially sanctioned with Dismissal Without Honor (PTDH) or dismissal from the membership of the National Police based on the decision of the National Police Ethics Council through the Police Ethics Code Commission (KKEP) hearing.

The most severe police ethics sanction was conveyed in a statement from the Head of the Public Information Bureau of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Brigadier General Pol. Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko at the TNCC Building of the National Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Thursday (19/2).

In the KKEP hearing, it was mentioned that there was a finding of an act of violation by Didik, namely asking for and receiving money through the Head of the Narcotics Police of Bima City Police on behalf of AKP Malaungi, which originated from the narcotics dealer, Koko Erwin.

For the narcotics criminal case, AKBP Didik was also a suspect in the investigation of the Narcotics Crime Directorate of the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit regarding possession of narcotics with various types of results from the search of his personal house in Tanggerang.

The evidence of narcotics in the suitcase was found to be 16.3 grams of methamphetamine, 50 ecstasy pills, 19 alprazolam pills, 2 Happy Five pills, and 5 grams of ketamine.

In addition to narcotics possession, AKBP Didik also has the status of a suspect from the investigation of the circulation case by the NTB Police Narcotics Investigation Directorate, which had previously named AKP Malaungi as a suspect while serving as Head of the Bima City Narcotics Police.

The role of AKBP Didik as a suspect at the NTB Police was revealed from the results of the investigation and the "singing" of AKP Malaungi who mentioned AKBP Didik's active role while still his superior.

The deposit of Rp1 billion from Koko Erwin to the discovery of evidence of 488 grams of crystal methamphetamine at the official residence of AKP Malaungi, namely at the Bima City Police Dormitory Complex, was mentioned in the examination report, with the knowledge and direction of AKBP Didik.

For this case, AKP Malaungi was also in the same fate as his former boss, receiving a PTDH sanction according to the results of the KKEP trial at the NTB Police Headquarters.
