Weather 20 February, Light Rain Jakarta and Several Major Cities

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in most areas in Indonesia will potentially rain with light intensity on Friday, February 20.

Based on the BMKG official website, quoted by Antara Jakarta, Friday morning, said that light-intensity rain could potentially rain on the cities of Jakarta, Bandar Lampung, Bengkulu, Denpasar, Gorontalo, Jayawijaya, and Kendari.

Light rain is also predicted to occur in Makassar, Mamuju, Manado, Manokwari, Mataram, Medan, and Palangka Raya.

Likewise, the weather in several other cities, namely Palembang, Palu, Pangkal Pinang, Samarinda, Serang, Sofifi, Sorong, Surabaya, and Yogyakarta is predicted to rain lightly.

Meanwhile, cloudy weather is predicted in Ambon City, Banda Aceh, Bandung, Jambi, Jayapura, Merauke, Nabire, Padang, Pekanbaru, Semarang, and Tanjung Pinang.

BMKG asked the public to be aware of rain accompanied by lightning which today has the potential to occur in Banjarbaru, Kupang, and Pontianak.

The escaped air is estimated to have occurred in Tanjung Selor City.
