Bimo Kusumo and Kristo Immanuel Proud to Join the Film "Rainbow on Mars"
JAKARTA - Bimo Kusumo and Kristo Immanuel tell their pride of joining the film Pelangi di Mars. This Mahakarya Pictures production film combines CGI, XR (Extended Reality), and Unreal Engine technology for film quality.
As fellow content creators who struggle in the field of voice impersonation, the two said that Upie Guava's film highlighted the world of voiceover in a comprehensive manner.
"This is the first film with voice actors in Indonesia and Pelangi di Mars opens the way, there are even body actors who can appreciate it. Indonesia has everything," said Bimo Kusumo in South Jakarta on Thursday, February 19.
Kristo Immanuel explained, "I'm really happy (to join), especially seeing the scale of the film which is extraordinary and the animation continues its workflow. The way Mr. Upie directs with live action."
Director Upie Guava explained that the film Pelangi di Mars was made because he wanted to bring to life the story of heroes from Indonesia, whose characters will also be loved by Indonesian audiences and society.
"I have children and grew up with Back to the Future, Star Wars. I feel that adult stories are about conquering the world," said Upie Guava.
"I feel when this IP appears when it appears in the trailer, on the clothes, bags, coloring books and various platforms, it is easier for children to be liked and if the relationship is the same from the first, it gives an alternative to watch because the great nation whose children's imagination is never limited," he explained.
The film Pelangi di Mars is voiced by Messi Gusti, Lutesha, Rio Dewanto, Livy Renata, Myesha Lin, Kristo Immanuel, Gilang Dirga, Bimo Kusuma and many others.
Meanwhile, the film Pelangi di Mars is one of the Indonesian films that will be shown at Lebaran in March.
