SeatGeek Integrates with Spotify, Buy Live Concert Tickets in the App

JAKARTA - The ticketing technology platform SeatGeek announced a new integration with Spotify that allows SeatGeek's official ticket inventory to appear directly on the music streaming platform.

Through this integration, fans can find live events related to the artists they listen to and easily connect to SeatGeek to buy official tickets.

Later, fans will be directed to the SeatGeek ticketing experience, where they can compare options and choose the seating that best suits their preferences.

Participating venues include SeatGeek's 15 major venue partners in the US, including State Farm Stadium, Nissan Stadium, and AT&T Stadium," said SeatGeek co-founder and president Russ D'Souza in an official announcement.

SeatGeek leverages SeatGeekIQ, an AI-based marketplace intelligence engine, to help partners understand fan behavior, improve show rates, and make better business decisions.

Spotify menyebut kemitraan ini sebagai langkah penting untuk membangun platform penemuan acara yang lebih kontekstual.

"By connecting our highly engaged audience with official tickets from an authorized source, we're creating a more relevant concert discovery experience," Spotify's business development lead, Abbie Riley, added.

This integration has been launched and users will start seeing direct links to SeatGeek tickets for upcoming events from the artists they follow, appearing in Spotify's event discovery and notification features.
