Suspected Narcotics, AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro Conducts Police Code of Ethics Hearing Today

JAKARTA - Former Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro (DPK) is scheduled to undergo a hearing at the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP), today Thursday, February 19. This process is related to his alleged involvement in the drug case.

It is known that Didik is currently undergoing a special placement (patsus) after being implicated in a drug case. This patsus is a series of ethical processes that he is facing for this problem.

"Currently, AKBP DPK has not been detained by the Directorate 4 of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police because the person concerned is still undergoing a special placement process by the National Police's Divpropam related to the code of ethics process which is still in the further process," said the Head of Public Relations of the National Police, Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir last week.

Johnny also conveyed that Didik had become a suspect in the alleged drug case. He is suspected of violating Article 609 paragraph (2) letter a of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code in conjunction with Law Number 1 of 2026 concerning Criminal Adjustment and Article 62 of Law Number 5 of 1997 concerning Psychotropic Substances.

"The threat of life imprisonment or a maximum prison sentence of 20 years and/or a maximum fine of six categories worth a maximum of Rp. 2 billion and a maximum prison sentence of five years and/or a maximum fine of four categories of Rp. 200 million," said Johnny.
