Once Behind, AC Milan Equalized 1-1 at Como 1907
AC Milan failed to win when hosting Como 1907 in the 25th giornata of the 2025/26 Serie A after drawing 1-1 at the San Siro Stadium, Thursday morning WIB.
Como won as reported by Antara, first through Nico Paz's goal before Rafael Leao saved Milan from defeat through the equalizer. This match was also marked by a red card given to the Rossoneri coach, Massimiliano Allegri.
This result makes AC Milan remain in second place in the Serie A standings with 54 points.
Meanwhile, Como 1907 climbed to sixth place with a collection of 42 points, as reported by the official SerieA website.
Como managed to steal the lead in the 32nd minute through Nico Paz. The goal started from a mistake by Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan who gave a wrong pass in the defense area.
The ball was successfully cut by Paz, who without difficulty sent the round skin into the goal and brought the visiting team 1-0 ahead.
Milan immediately responded by increasing the intensity of the attack. Two minutes later, Fikayo Tomori launched a volley, but it could still be secured by Como goalkeeper Jean Butez.
Como retaliated in the 38th minute through a kick from Sergi Roberto, but Maignan was able to make a save this time. The score 1-0 for Como's advantage lasted until halftime.
Entering the second half, Milan continued to press to equalize.
Their efforts bore fruit in the 64th minute. Leao recorded his name on the scoreboard after receiving a header from Ardon Jashari and calmly poked the ball past Jean Butez into the empty net. The score became 1-1.
Eight minutes later, Milan almost turned the tide. Youssouf Fofana's header in front of the goal still hung limply over the crossbar.
The tension of the match peaked in the 81st minute when there was a commotion on the sidelines that resulted in a red card for Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri.
In the remaining minutes of the match, both teams tried to find the winning goal. However, the score remained 1-1.
