The Police Chief of Bali Emphasizes Security as One of the Keys to Tourism
BADUNG - Bali Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya emphasized that security is one of the main keys to maintaining the sustainability of Bali tourism.
This was conveyed by the Police Chief when he was a resource person in the 2026 Fiscal Year Kodam IX/Udayana Leadership Meeting (Rapim) at the Girinata Mandala Cultural Center, Puspem Badung, Bali, Wednesday, February 18.
In his presentation, the Bali Police Chief emphasized that security is a basic prerequisite for development, including for the tourism sector which is the backbone of Bali's economy.
According to him, without strong stability, tourism will not develop optimally.
Daniel explained that the National Police has an important role in maintaining national and regional stability, as well as being a facilitator in creating a conducive investment and tourism climate.
The Police Chief emphasized that the National Police was not only present in law enforcement, but also ensured that all development activities were safe and productive.
The Bali Police Chief also explained the concrete steps taken by the Bali Police in maintaining the security of Bali tourism.
Efforts include strengthening local wisdom-based kamtibmas, enforcing just law, to monitoring foreign nationals (WNA) and transnational crimes that can disrupt Bali's image as a world destination.
According to him, the security of tourist areas is a top priority because it is directly related to the comfort of domestic and foreign tourists.
"Safeguarding security will increase public confidence and strengthen Bali's tourism competitiveness at the international level," said Daniel as quoted by ANTARA.
The Police Chief also emphasized the concept of Precision Police as an important instrument in supporting the development and progress of tourism.
Polri Presisi, he said, serves as a stabilizer and a catalyst to encourage regional economic growth.
"The National Police is not present outside of development, but is at the heart of development. When strong synergy is built, security becomes an energy that drives the nation's progress. Synergy is the key to successful development," said the Bali Police Chief.
