Nia Daniaty and Olivia Nathania Compact Absent at the Hearing of the Bodong CPNS Case

JAKARTA - The Bodong CPNS case which dragged Nia Daniaty along with her daughter, Olivia Nathania and her son-in-law, Rafly Noviyanto Tilaar is still ongoing.

Not long ago, the South Jakarta District Court had reprimanded the three of them in which they gave the Execution Petitioners the opportunity to voluntarily return the money belonging to 179 victims of the fake CPNS before the South Jakarta District Court carried out a seizure or forcibly blocked the movable or immovable assets belonging to the victims.

Unfortunately, in the hearing which was scheduled for mediation, both Nia and Olivia were compactly absent without being represented by their lawyers.

"Yes, so the call was sent to the three defendants; Olivia, Rafly, and Nia Daniaty. However, until today, wait until the session begins, no one has come, even though the call has been validly received by the execution defendants. So," said Odie Hudiyanto, lawyer for the victims at the South Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, February 18.

Seeing this, Odie Hudiyanto said that his party would submit several assets to be confiscated belonging to Nia Daniaty and Olivia Nathania in order to pay off the losses of the CPNS Bodong victim worth Rp8.1 billion.

"And indeed, it was also asked about what would happen if, for example, this termohon execution was not present at this call. We said that we already had Mr. data, assets owned by Nia Daniaty, Olivia, and Rafly Tilaar that we could seize or block. Both in the form of movable and immovable property. For example, houses and accounts," said Odie.

For Rafly Tilaar, Odie intends to block his salary account as a prison officer in Nusakambangan as a form of responsibility as a defendant in this case.

"We have also sent a letter to the Minister of Prisons and Immigration because Rafly worked as a warden at Nusakambangan prison so that later his honor, his salary, his wages would be blocked to make payments to the victims," he said.

The representative of the Bodong CPNS victim, Agustine, has the same opinion as Odie Hudiyanto who until now is still asking for accountability from Nia Daniaty, Olivia Nathania and Rafly Tilaar.

"Yes, I frankly convey to the court, please complete this case to the end. Because we are now almost 4 and a half years, where the victims' friends suffer. There is a lot of debt, even now they are still paying off debts," said Agustine.

"Plus, with a difficult life like this. We ask the court to really solve this case so that it is complete," he concluded.

Previously, on March 28, 2022, the panel of judges at the South Jakarta District Court sentenced Olivia Nathania to 3 years in prison for being proven to have committed fraud by registering a fake CPNS, violating Article 378 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 65 on Fraud.

This verdict was taken based on evidence that as many as 225 people were victims of fraud with a total loss of around Rp9.7 billion.
