Bank Jakarta Partners with Persija to Promote Financial Inclusion for Community Supporters
JAKARTA - Bank Jakarta continues to expand access to financial services with a community-based approach. Most recently, the bank owned by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government held a financial inclusion program entitled From the Pitch to the Branch with Persija Jakarta and the Jakmania supporter community, Wednesday, February 18.
The program connects the spirit of sports with financial literacy through direct interaction sessions between Persija players and supporters at Bank Jakarta branch offices.
In addition to meet and greets, Bank Jakarta also presents banking education as well as ease of opening accounts and activating JakOne Mobile mobile banking at the event location.
Bank Jakarta President Director Agus H. Widodo said that the community approach is an important strategy in promoting financial inclusion.
According to him, the energy and togetherness of the green field can be a gateway to introduce safe and easily accessible financial services.
"Through the theme From the Pitch to the Branch, we want to ensure that all layers of society, including the supporter community, have access to useful financial services," said Agus in an official statement received by VOI.
In this activity, Bank Jakarta also introduced a number of products, ranging from VISA Debit Cards, opening savings accounts, non-cash transactions based on QRIS, to the use of mobile banking for daily needs.
Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi added that the collaboration with Persija is a form of Bank Jakarta's support in building an inclusive and community-based financial ecosystem.
"We view sports, especially football, as a medium for strong interaction and activity of citizens. Through this collaboration, Bank Jakarta wants to ensure that financial inclusion is present in a tangible way, not only as a program, but as a joint movement to improve the welfare of the community," explained Arie.
In the future, Bank Jakarta targets that a similar program will be expanded to various communities to support more inclusive economic growth in Jakarta.
