Polda Metro Tangkap Dua Pengedar Ekstasi di Area ATM Apartemen Mediterania Palace Residence

JAKARTA - The Narcotics Investigation Directorate (Ditresnarkoba) of the Metro Jaya Police thwarted the circulation of 738 ecstasy-type narcotics and arrested two men in Central Jakarta.

"The two suspects who were arrested, each with the initials R (32) and D (29), were arrested in the ATM Center area of the Mediterranean Palace Residence Apartment, Central Jakarta on Monday (16/2)," said Head of Unit (Kanit) 3 Subdirectorate (Subdit) 3 Ditresnarkoba Polda Metro Jaya, AKP Guntur Muarif, ANTARA, Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

The disclosure of this case was carried out after the police received a report from the public regarding the alleged activity of drug transactions at the location.

From the initial examination, it was found that the prohibited goods were brought by R from Lampung.

"He took ecstasy in the Lampung area before leaving for Jakarta," he said.

Furthermore, suspect R was picked up by suspect D in the Kebon Jeruk area, West Jakarta. The two then headed to the location of the Mediterania Palace Residence Apartment, Central Jakarta.

Both of them are residents from Lampung Province. The drugs were planned to be distributed in the Jakarta area.

"Both suspects and the evidence have now been taken to the Narcotics Investigation Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police for further investigation," he said.
